Make your own PlayDough gift
One clear cone or pretzel bag, put 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup salt, 1 Tablespoon Cream of Tarter and 1 package of kool-aid (using the dollar store brand helps cut cost.) Flour in first, then the kool-aid, the salt and cream of tarter. Rubberband it closed and tie on some curing ribbon. Make a tag that reads: Microwave play dough. Mix 1 cup of water and 1 Tablespoon baby oil with the contents of this package. Microwave on high, stirring every 30 seconds until a ball forms. Ready to play with when cool to touch. Store in refrigerator for another day in the bag it came out of or a zip loc baggie.

It is summer time and would not be complete without bubbles, here is a tried and true bubble solution recipe. 1/3 cup dish soap, 1 1/4 cup water, 2 t. sugar and 1 drop food coloring.
Combine ingredients and pour into an unbreakable bottle. To blow bubbles, experimint using plastic straws, pipe cleaner, strawberry plastic baskets, spoons with holes or anything you think might work. Enjoy.

All joys shared are multiplied by the number of people you share with.
Start by peeling about 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. potatoes, put in pan and cook just as you would for mashed potatoes. Pour off 3 cups of the potato water and set aside, beat the rest of the potatoes in mixer(need 3 cups). Then dissolve 3 pkgs.quick rise yeast in 1 cup warm water. Cream 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1 cup shortening (I use the real thing...butter)(which is 2 sticks). Add 4 beaten eggs, 3-4 tsp salt, the 3 cups mashed potatoes and 3 cups potato water, put in the yeast and about 14 cups flour and knead to a medium stiff dough, grease top and let rise, punch down and refrigerate til next morning, then roll out, cut out and let rise. (while they are raising prepare the skillet with Crisco and heat to 425. Take 2 lb powdered sugar, 2 tablespoon cornstarch, butter the size of an egg, small amount of milk or cream, 1 tsp. vanilla(I usually don't do that) for your glaze. By this time the donuts should be ready to put in the grease and fry. Drain on paper towels, flip in glaze and then place on cookie sheet to cool. (and if the smell goes out the door watch out for neighbors....they love them.
